Sirens - Lived on an island in the sea. They had enchanting voices and their singing lured sailors to their death. It is not known what they look like, for no one who saw them ever returned.
Scylla - Cursed by Circe, she was turned into a beast. Out from her body grew serpents' and fierce dogs' heads. She is rooted to a rock in the middle of the ocean, hating and destroying everything that came within her reach, a peril to all sailors who passed her way.
